Most publication, not only in the US, crammed and shelved most of their written works and photographs to give way and also to cash in on the unprecedented death of the King of Pop but while most of them showed Jackson (on their cover) during his happy and triumphant days, OK Magazine decided on the contrary.

The magazine is said to have bought the rights of the above picture for a whooping $500,000, which is considered to be the very last photo of MJ alive or nearing death, this is suppose to have been taken while he was in the ambulance fighting for his life. Could a paramedic be the one counting the half mil as we speak? Hmm...

I used to work for a bi-monthly magazine here in the Philippines and during my stint as an all-around editorial assistant, I had learned a few unwritten rules in the publication business, yes, we worked primarily to pleased the advertisers and our ultimate goal is (always) to gain readership, subscribers and buyers, but morality and decency should always be in effect. Is it just me or does OK Magazine forgone the morality and decency all the way?

If you are a fan or just a concerned netizen, you can sign a petition to Stop the Michael Jackson Death Photo. If you don't care, just do your thing and get out of here *lol*.

Personally I think whoever runs OK Magazine is just plain sick. I mean, first the exploitation of Dannielynn Birkhead (she's a motherless baby, leave her alone!), then the glorification of teen pregnancy (Jamie Lynn Spears), and now this??? It's awful. Whoever's making their editorial decisions needs to be fired and sent for a psychiatric examination.

You know, the more I look at that photo the more I think it's not Michael at all:

1) The skin tone of the person is too dark
2) Michael wasn't breathing when the paramedics arrived and they never got him breathing on his own, apparently, so the tube up this person's nose wouldn't have been used on him
3) ditto the stabilization collar, MJ wasn't reported to have any neck or spinal injuries.

Wasn't Janet Jackson in a car accident a few years ago? I think this might be of her from that incident. It's still sick that OKM used it as their cover photo though.

I know this is disturbing but that's what tabloids do.
