Managing a computer shop often takes toll on me and my sanity, imagine groups of kids shouting at each other as they play an online war game or a number of teens playing those hate-themed rap songs at max volume, add the others who are waiting for their turn to rent and be seated, nagging and asking if anyone's time is up yet *sigh*. Most of the time I keep myself preoccupied with Facebook apps, I try to blog while I man the cafe but I always end up with a blank note, noise and me thinking is not really that compatible. But Facebook games can only do so much, sometimes, I get tired and weary of playing and that's where my ever-reliable itunes music file comes in - I do music tripping without a care to my surroundings, I just plug my earphones, pick my favorite tracks and relax. But as I am not the only one who owns an ipod/mp3 player in our family, I need to share the PC and music downloads with them, the hassle in so doing is clattering the music list with the same songs. But, I think, I finally found a way to delete duplicates in itunes and I don't need to pay a dime to download it.
Moleskinsoft's Clone Remover is an award-winning small shareware utility that finds duplicate files in Windows (Vista supported) and removes it. It helps to search and delete duplicated data in a safe way on our PC or laptop like photo-video and music/mp3 files, .rar and .zip archives are also detected and deleted, if necessary.
My computer can heave that deep breath, as deleting duplicate files also means a bigger disk space thus a better and faster performance by my beloved PC. Sound tripping will also be more enjoyable as I won't waste time dragging tracks from one folder to the other, giving me more time to jive and sway to the music *grins*.
