Top Rank Promoter, Bob Arum has told ESPN.com that it is official, Manny Pacquiao will face Miguel Cotto on his next title bout.
No papers had been signed yet, as of posting Bob Arum's attorney is preparing the documents for signatures, but it is already a done deal, he said that he had reached a verbal agreement with both parties while he was away on vacation in London, Italy and Israel.
Everything has been agreed upon - the weight, the percentages, the guarantees - Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37KOs) will get more than 50% of the money but the actual split was not disclosed; Cotto (34-1, 27KOs) will go down to a 145 pound maximum weight, he is in 147lbs at the moment.
The pound-for-pound king, Manny Pacquiao and the welterweight titleholder, Miguel Cotto will meet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Nov. 14.
The tentative tour schedule is on September 9 in Los Angeles, September 10 in New York and September 12 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
