Have you heard about the soon-to-be-release Dora doll? This time Dora has grown up, she's now on her tween years with a more fashionable look - a fresh and new wardrobe plus a longer and luscious locks, and she has a new group of friends - Naiya, Emma, Kate and Alana - hmm... what will happen to Boots, Issa, Backpack, Map and the rest of the old rat pack? Just asking...
Anyway, the move to have a Dora makeover was meant to make her and her whole franchise [give me the money *grins*] more appealing to the tween set of girls. Dora's older now and going to school so expect a different series of adventures that is said to include pro-social themes like volunteerism, water conservation and tree planting to help the environment.
The new and improved Dora doll is set to hit the toy shelves on November just in time for our Christmas shopping, it will drill a $60 hole in your budget, so if you're interested, I suggest saving up as early as today.
If you care to see the little lady Dora, visit DoraLinks.com, the website where the girls can customize Dora's online adventures with her friends.
I have a little boy, so I am all about Diego for now, until I have my own baby girl *crossing my fingers, grins*.
