Once I Was Home Alone

Last night my husband and son went to a debutante's ball without me as we can't find anyone who can man the computer shop while we enjoy ourselves in the party *grins*. I was fine before they went away, it is a formal affair and I'm not a fan of dresses and formal attires, but when they left, I felt forsaken, and all I can do is imagine the ruckus that my son will make or how the other visitors will dote on him, he was so handsome and super cute in his yellow long-sleeves, black tie and black slacks. I did asked the husband to bring the camera and take pictures but as all men are, he didn't care that much to took some *sigh*.

Technically, I wasn't all alone because the computer shop was full up to ten in the evening but after that, I only had four more clients that came in at 20-30 minutes interval, one after the other, so it was really boring. And to while away time, as I lose interest in playing my games in Facebook, I decided to download software. I've been busy watching movie downloads for the past weeks, I had my dose of Twilight, The Proposal, 2012, among others, and I owe it all to torrent and sharing sites.

Anyway, at around 12 midnight, I heard hubby parked the car so I rushed out and met them, my son brought home a box of heart-shaped chocolates and brownies, it was given to him by the sister of the debutante because she find my son too cute, she wasn't able to resist his charm *lol*. I was told that he was the center of attention and everybody's hugging and kissing him, hubby even said that he was so proud to be a father. Aww, I should have been there, I would have huff and puff like a proud mama bear.

Downside of the story, while hubby and I were talking about the party, our remaining client told us that he lost his internet connection, I hastily checked and found out that we're having dsl problems once again, so I ended up closing the shop and loosing my download.
