OMG! It is true then, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are going to get married and we don't have to wait for long to hear the wedding bells (as if I'm gonna hear it, I'm a thousand miles away if you care to know). The wedding will take place on Sunday as Khloe stated in her blog -

Hi dolls. I’m thrilled to finally be able to tell you that the news is true… Lamar and I are getting married on Sunday!!! I couldn’t be happier and I’m so excited that I can finally share the news with all of you.

Your well wishes have meant the world to me and I am truly so blessed to have such amazing fans, family and friends during this incredible time in my life.

I love you all!!! xoxo
Though the reality TV star didn't give details, E! News claims to have uncovered the following details:

Location: At the L.A. residence of music mogul Irving Azoff.

Guests: About 250, including Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Brody Jenner; Odom's teammates; and a few E! personalities.

Ring: Huge, to be debuted soon; possibly today!

Prenup: It has been discussed but Khloe is said to have refused to sign the prenup (and we just heard that Lamar just signed a $33 million contract to the LA Lakers).

Pregnant(?): Not

Word has it that the Lakers player is the one rushing the wedding, he wanted it done before the start of the NBA season, for reasons he only knows *grins*.

According to the youngest Kardashian sister, "We fell in love and were talking about marriage so fast. We went to dinner with my family at Boa recently, and he asked my mom if he could marry me!"

And if we must believe what the friend of Lamar Odom said, “He got to that point in life where he wanted to settle down, then she came into his life not long after", his asking for her hand in marriage instantaneously (as Khloe had said in her statement above) could be true.

But before you romantic peeps rejoice, you should read/hear this, there is a certain rumor going around that the expenses on Sunday's wedding is shoulder by E! and the event, itself, will be shown in Khloe's reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

After knowing that certain fact, I am kinda torn - is it true love or true publicity?

I was randomly clicking on news bits and gossips that I can find in the net and imagine my surprise when one of those that I clicked led me to an article about NCIS: Los Angeles. I have been a loyal viewer of the original NCIS, I first saw it in the late night line-up of programs in Studio 23 two years ago (I think) and I've been hooked ever since. Though the previous channel doesn't carry it in their show line-up anymore, I found bliss in finding it in C/S 9.

NCIS is a television series that follows a fictional team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team (MCRT) special agents, headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. It is described by the actors and producers (on special features on DVD releases in the United States) as being distinguished by its comedy elements, ensemble acting and character-driven plots.

NCIS is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy, which includes the United States Marine Corps. NCIS investigates all major criminal offenses (felonies), those crimes punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice by confinement of more than one year, within the Department of the Navy. This can be seen when the “NCIS team” is frequently assigned to high profile cases such as the death of the President's military aide, a bomb situation on a U.S. Navy warship, the death of a celebrity on a reality show set on a USMC base, terrorist threats, and kidnappings.

The “NCIS team” is led by Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). Gibbs’ team is composed of Special Agent and Senior Field Agent Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Mossad Liaison Officer Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), who replaced Caitlin "Kate" Todd (Sasha Alexander) when she was shot by Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) at the end of season two. Ari himself was then killed by his half-sister Ziva at the beginning of season three. The team is assisted in their investigations by Chief Medical Examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), Forensic Specialist Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) and Assistant Medical Examiner Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen).

NCIS is currently led by Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll). The first Director seen in the series, Thomas Morrow, (Alan Dale) left after a promotion to Deputy Director of DHS. Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) was appointed Director after Morrow; she was killed in a shootout at the end of the fifth season.
Oh, the article above is from Mr. Wiki, in case you're wondering *grins*.

One of the downside of leaving elsewhere (and not in the US) is that you're only privy to certain syndicated shows that your local channels will pay for to re-run, or expect and pray that it will be shown on the cable channels that you have, or you can rely on the ever-dandy P2P sharing sites with a virus explosion hanging on your head, and if all else fails, you can always wait for the DVD release and spend your hard-earned cash on it. So, it wasn't a surprise that I haven't heard of a NCIS spin-off until today, I am happy to know that there will be NCIS mushrooms too, like that of CSI but for the record, I'm still unwilling to give up my NCIS addiction to that of NCIS: Los Angeles, even if Chris O' Donnell is the lead *grins*.
The show was known as NCIS: Legend while in production (referring to the episode of NCIS in which the spin-off was introduced), and other names considered included NCIS: OSP (Office of Special Projects) and NCIS: Undercover.[7] Filming started in February 2009, with the characters being introduced in the two-part NCIS episode titled "Legend", the first part of which aired on April 28, 2009.[7][8] This episode served as a backdoor pilot for the series, in a manner similar to the introduction of NCIS, which was introduced by way of a two-part episode of JAG.

Chris O'Donnell will be playing the lead character, Callen, an enigmatic lead agent whose natural talent for undercover work is legend.[9] LL Cool J will be playing the role of Special Agent Sam Hanna, an ex-Navy SEAL, who works in the undercover unit of NCIS in Los Angeles, and is also fluent in Arabic and an expert on Middle Eastern culture.[6] Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah were confirmed to be cast as leads of the new spin-off, playing a psychologist named Nate and forensic investigator named Kensi, respectively; they appeared on-screen for the first time in an episode of NCIS that aired in April 2009.[10] Louise Lombard, who had been confirmed to play the role of lead agent Clara, will not appear as a regular in the new series, but may return for guest appearances.[11][12][13]

Rocky Carroll, who plays Director Leon Vance on NCIS, will also be appearing in at least six of the first 13 episodes.[14][15] Furthermore, Pauley Perrette will have a guest appearance in the second episode.[16][17]

Cast: Chris O’Donnell (Special Agent G. Callen), LL Cool J (Special Agent Sam Hanna), Linda Hunt (Hetty Lange), Peter Cambor (Nate Getz), Daniela Ruah (Special Agent Kensi Blye), Adam Jamal Craig (Special Agent Dominic Vail) and Barrett Foa (Eric Beal).

The Blah Girls is an animated series that is currently accessible through their You Tube channel, it is about a group of young girls (pre-teens I think) and their own and distinct point of views on different matters, mostly about pop culture.

Taken from their site: Meet..."The Blah Girls!" BlahBlahBlah is an interactive, animated Web series that focuses on popular culture, told through the perspective of the Blah Girls - Tiffany, Krystle and Britney. They will keep you up to date on the latest in celebrity gossip, fashion, relationships and life as it happens.

Below clip is one example of the Blah girls wisdom *ehem* and humor. Enjoy!

There is a rumor circling around Tinseltown, could it be true, is Khloe Kardashian engaged to wed his new beau, Lamar Odom?

The star of E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Takes on Miami hooked up with the Los Angeles Lakers player at a party in the Hollywood nightspot, Halo, last August and they have been inseparable ever since.

A month after the meet-up, the rumor has it that they are actually planning their wedding. E! News reported that the duo were discussing wedding rings but People.com suggested yesterday, September 18, that the ring might already be in the youngest Kardashian sister's finger.

“Khloe Kardashian to Marry L.A. Lakers Player,” the People.com headline proclaimed. The subsequent story cited two unnamed sources and stated, “the couple are currently planning their wedding.”

Hmm... could it be true? I guess, we all just have to wait and see...

Care to watch the third apology of Kanye West (after ruining Taylor Swift's moment of glory at the MTV Video Music Awards last September 13)

FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS (AP) - Kanye West used Jay Leno's prime-time debut Monday to offer another apology for ruining Taylor Swift's night at the MTV Video Music Awards and to say he's going to take some time off for reflection.

West said he knew he was wrong the moment he handed the microphone back to Swift, when he was bathed in boos. He had interrupted Swift on Sunday night as she accepted a best female video award for "You Belong With Me," arguing that Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" was more deserving.

"It was rude, period," West said. He posted a second apology to Swift on his blog on Monday, and told Leno he wanted to apologize to the country music star in person.

West took a long pause when Leno asked what his mother would have said about the incident. West was very close to his mother, Donda, who died in November 2007. He said yes when Leno asked whether his mother would have given him a lecture.

"So many celebrities, they never take the time off," he said. "I've never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, 'cause, and I don't try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That's period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life, how I'm going to improve."

He had already been set to perform on Leno's first prime-time show on NBC, but asked for time to talk with the controversy swirling. It may have been a stroke of luck for Leno, whose daily prime-time comedy show already was the most buzzed-about fall debut. With West, it's likely to draw even more curious viewers.

It was reminiscent of when Hugh Grant appeared on the "Tonight" show with Leno in 1995 to make amends after being arrested with a prostitute — only this time there weren't many laughs. The Grant appearance was a springboard for Leno to eclipse David Letterman in the ratings.

Leno was quick to reference the West incident with one of his first monologue jokes Monday, saying President Barack Obama had invited West and the 19-year-old Swift for a "root beer summit."

West has gotten in trouble before with ill-timed comments, raising scenes after losing awards himself at the VMAs, the Grammys and the American Music Awards. In 2005, West said during a telethon after Hurricane Katrina that President George W. Bush "doesn't care about black people."

MTV wasn't complaining on Monday. Televised on MTV, MTV2 and VH1 simultaneously on Sunday, the awards show was seen by 11 million people, according to Nielsen Media Research. That's up 21 percent over last year and was the most-watched Video Music Awards since 2002.

A corporate partner of MTV jumped to take advantage of it. Comedy Central, like MTV owned by Viacom Inc., planned to rerun four times in a row on Tuesday a "South Park" episode that poked fun at West's ego.

West spoke on Leno's show before performing with Jay-Z and Rihanna on Jay-Z's song "Run This Town."

Some of West's fans who were waiting to see the performance on Leno's show condemned the rapper.

"I thought that was very disrespectful," said Oscar Velasquez, 21, of Valley Village, Calif. "He's a great musician, but as a person, he's not a role model or anything. And I think that not only are his fans disappointed but his mom would be disappointed. I don't think she raised him like that, to be like that. I think he needs to remember that."

Velasquez said he'd remained a fan of West's after previous awards show blowups, but, "I'm getting kind of tired of it. There comes to a point where you know what? That's how you are, but you can change. And he needs to change."

Errimis Pullett, 27, of San Diego, said he planned to boo West.

He said he'd dismissed West's previous award show tantrums by telling himself, "'Oh, he's kind of misunderstood. He's a little egotistical.' But last night, just jumping in front of Taylor Swift and stealing her moment, that was ridiculous. I can't support or defend that. I'm a huge fan, bought all his CDs. ... I'm glad Beyonce stepped in and let her finish her speech up."

This time, Pullett said, "he looked more like a bully."

"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf. Swayze died in Los Angeles, Wolf said, but declined to give further details.

Patrick Swayze whose famous works include Dirty Dancing and Ghost died at the age of 57 after battling pancreatic cancer.

C. Thomas Howell, who co-starred with Swayze in The Outsiders, Grandview U.S.A. and Red Dawn, said: "I have always had a special place in my heart for Patrick. While I was fortunate enough to work with him in three films, it was our passion for horses that forged a friendship between us that I treasure to this day. Not only did we lose a fine actor today, I lost my older 'Outsiders' brother."

Other celebrities used Twitter to express their condolences, Ashton Kutcher, whose wife, Demi Moore, co-starred with Swayze in Ghost, wrote: "RIP P Swayze." Kutcher also linked to a YouTube clip of the actor poking fun at himself in a classic Saturday Night Live sketch, in which he played a wannabe Chippendales dancer alongside the corpulent -- and frighteningly shirtless -- Chris Farley.

Larry King wrote: "Patrick Swayze was a wonderful actor & a terrific guy. He put his heart in everything. He was an extraordinary fighter in his battle w/ Cancer." King added that he'd do a tribute to Swayze on his CNN program Tuesday night.

Swayze was married since 1975 to Niemi, a fellow dancer who took lessons with his mother; they met when he was 19 and she was 15. A licensed pilot, Niemi would fly her husband from Los Angeles to Northern California for treatment at Stanford University Medical Center.

Oh well, it is not Lady Gaga if we don't gag when she pass by right? And she has proved her diversity in her clothing preference (again) when she attended the MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday, September 13 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The Paparazzi singer donned a black lace Jean Paul Gaultier dress with dragon print silk underlay from Gaultier’s fall/winter ready to wear collection. She accessorized the look with a
Keko Hainswheeler neck brace and Kiko jewelry.

The 23-year old lady walked the red carpet with Kermit the Frog.

Lady Gaga: "I'm just happy to be here, and I'm excited for everyone to win."

Kermit the Frog: "I'm just happy that it's not made out of someone I know." (in reference to the materials of Lady Gaga's outfit)

What do you think folks? Is this (refer to the photo) head turning enough for
you *grins*?

The latest and the third in the series of official trailers of New Moon was release for public viewing in the MTV Music Awards to keep the Twilight madness brewing and the New Moon excitement pouring, if I may say.

Here's one which I got from You Tube.

New Moon looks more action and drama- filled than Twilight and I can't wait to see it in the big screen. Whew, let the countdown begins...

To appease my longing, I shall take pleasure in staring at -

So, Kanye West did something incredulous (on stage) yet again, this guy is such an attention whore, don't you think so?

Here is the video of Kanye West's outburst in the MTV Music Video Awards while Taylor Swift was reciting her acceptance speech for her first ever Man-on-Moon award.

I am not a fan of Taylor Swift but I don't think Kanye West has the right to do that to her, even Beyonce, whose video, Single Ladies, was mentioned by Kanye, looked shocked and appalled at the same time.

Yahoo Music has a detailed article if you wanna know more.

Yvette Prieto, a Cuban model, is rumored to be the current lady love of the NBA Hall-of-Famer Michael Jordan. No confirmation has been heard from the basketball legend or the above mentioned woman but I think the finger-locking on the above photo kinda say it all.

It is rumored that the two had bought a modest home in suburban Miami, it was said that Jordan had taken a 30-year mortgage plan for the 5,500 square feet home.

Does that mean we shall hear some wedding bells ringing soon?

If they really love each other, and if Michael Jordan is sure that she's the one (3rd one in his case, I think) then they should get marry and have a family, everyone deserves to be happy :) Anyway, his divorce from his former wife, Juanita Vanoy, has been finalized in 2006, and moving on is but necessary.

Well, in this kind of weather, who can blame me, we've been having rains for two weeks, it is cold in my side of the planet and who am I to refuse the comfort that it gives me while I am lying in bed snugly tucked in our blanket with the TV/DVD on and some potato chips and chocolate cookies on the side. That is what I call life *grins*.

Anyway, I received payment from Adgitize, third in a row baby. I haven't been as active in Adgitize as much as I want and need to to earn bigger bucks, again blame it on the weather *chuckles*, I've been too lazy and too busy (playing an online game) to blog. And my September earnings doesn't look promising either, wish I can still reach the minimum payout or (I'm being very optimistic here)a return in advertising cost *crossing my fingers*.

I am not as active as I am suppose to in Entrecard, sorry folks. I promise to get back and drop on everyone when the laziness subsides (if and when it does).

Haven't been posting in A Taste of Both Worlds, too, I wanna say sorry to my readers and subscribers (in that blog), I promise to shake off the lazy vibe as soon as I can (and when I'm capable to do so) *grins*.

I know that I am lacking but please don't hate me. Leave me not... please :)

“I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol,” Ms. DeGeneres said in a statement. “I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save from not having to text in my vote.”

So it is official, Fox had announced on Wednesday that Ellen DeGeneres will have the fourth seat in American Idol's set of judges, she will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi next winter, after the auditions that are currently being held around the country (USA).

In an updated report from the Associated Press -

DeGeneres told her talk show audience in an episode scheduled to air Thursday that she would not abandon her Emmy-winning chatfest, but would have “a day job and a night job.”

“The times we’re living in,” she quipped, “we’re all doing that.”

“Hopefully, I’m the people’s point of view because I’m just like you,” DeGeneres said on her show. “I sit at home and I watch it, and I don’t have that technical … I’m not looking at it in a critical way from the producer’s mind. I’m looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person.”

So, it really is goodbye Paula...

Really, can anyone answer me please. Is Matt Damon dead? I have been looking and searching for like two hours already and I haven't gotten any confirmation if he is dead or not.

When I googled it, the first on the list of possible sites with Matt Damon's death articles is a board/forum and one of the forum-ers posted an article he got in the net (specific address was not given) about Matt Damon's death in California Palo Verde Mountain area with an unknown cause of death, according to that piece of news (or any other four-letter word you may want to alter it with) TMZ was the one who reported it first but after checking on TMZ's website for more than a hundred times and tracking back every article from today up to the 1st of September, I found not a hint of Matt Damon, alive or not.

Other members of that board even said that Wikipedia and CNN confirmed the news but when I checked on both sites, nothing of the alleged confirmation surfaced. Are the members of that forum living in a separate dimension that's why I can't seem to find and see what they can?

Aside from that thread, all the other search results are either not loading due to database error or are attack sites (meaning they are virus plantations *wink*). Hmm... do you smell something fishy?

And then, I was able to land in Ask.com and one of the answers there have a link to Gather.com which in a way clear the Matt Damon's death issue (to me).

Nasty rumors are aplenty in the net and they always seem to get me *lol*, I'm a sucker for gossip *lol*.

And for the record, there is no confirmation, proof or evidence of Matt Damon's death. I/We can safely assume that it is just a hoax ran by someone who doesn't have anything better to do with his time. Nuff said.

But a confirmation from him or from his rep will really be a breather...

Have you heard about the soon-to-be-release Dora doll? This time Dora has grown up, she's now on her tween years with a more fashionable look - a fresh and new wardrobe plus a longer and luscious locks, and she has a new group of friends - Naiya, Emma, Kate and Alana - hmm... what will happen to Boots, Issa, Backpack, Map and the rest of the old rat pack? Just asking...

Anyway, the move to have a Dora makeover was meant to make her and her whole franchise [give me the money *grins*] more appealing to the tween set of girls. Dora's older now and going to school so expect a different series of adventures that is said to include pro-social themes like volunteerism, water conservation and tree planting to help the environment.

The new and improved Dora doll is set to hit the toy shelves on November just in time for our Christmas shopping, it will drill a $60 hole in your budget, so if you're interested, I suggest saving up as early as today.

If you care to see the little lady Dora, visit DoraLinks.com, the website where the girls can customize Dora's online adventures with her friends.

I have a little boy, so I am all about Diego for now, until I have my own baby girl *crossing my fingers, grins*.

Google touched the world's curiosity, more of spiked it, yet again because of the Google Doodle showing in their site in some parts of the world. It was said to be showing in Google Australia, Germany and Russia and soon in the US.

It was said to direct you to unexplained phenomenon (websites) search results when you happen to click on the doodle (logo). I am not privy on the matter as it doesn't show here (yet) in Google Pilipinas and I'm not really sure if it will ever will.

The net and most bloggers are busy dissecting the doodle, its why(s) and what(s) and so on. I won't join the bandwagon in giving my own POV, as if joining the Google doodle phenomenon is not enough *lol*.

But, I did found some possible answers from a certain Louis which he posted as a comment in Pierre Markuse, actually, his answers kinda entertain me and I like it, and no one can stop me from posting it except him (Louis) *grins*.

  • Google is just having some fun with the public.
  • There is some anniversary that we don’t know about. (which actually is, Star Trek, and is discuss in detail here)
  • Google is running some sort of test/experiment with news items updates.
  • It is a paid for advert (PLEASE NO). (and I agree with his sentiment *sigh*)
  • Google have run out of ‘O’s.
  • Aliens HAVE infiltrated Google. (hmm... *thinking* *grins*)
Any additions?

I found something nice in the internet, seems like my favorite uptown (New Yorker) girls is doing a twenties-inspired eppy.

In the pic is Hillary Duff, she is a recurring guests in the hit teen drama, Gossip Girls, playing as Olivia Burke, a celebrity who enrolls in NYU to experience a normal student life who ends up as Vanessa's roommate.

The photo and the other ones that you can see here were taken on September 2 at Midtown Manhattan.

I was, actually aiming for Blaire Waldorf's photo but I can't find a pic of her in her twenties do :(

Have you seen this? Or the other ones included in this batch of photos?

I only have one thing to say... that is one hot photo shoot courtesy of Italian Vogue. I love the theme and the general idea... it is so vogue *grins*.

A few days ago in the wee hours of the morning, as I was waiting for my son to finish his thing in the comfort room I decided to watch Unang Hirit, I was lucky to tuned in on time for the infamous interview of Pampanga Representative and the eldest son of President (by force) Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Mikey Arroyo regarding his inflating (ill-gotten) wealth. Frankly, it was an irritating site, specially in the morning, but hey, Winnie Monsod made me chuckle and grin a number of times because of her obvious irritation on Mikey's dodging of the subject and favorite line 'You gotta ask my lawyer'. Monsod oblivious to the pain and stress on Mikey's face and body gestures kept on grilling and drilling until finally, out of exasperation or stupidity, or to just end the interview and his misery, he blurted out -

“Let’s put it this way. Alam nyo kasi, syempre unang-una, kinasal tayo. Medyo nagkaroon tayo ng maraming regalo. Tapos pag kampanya, eh syempre, kahit paano, maraming tumutulong sa atin."
Ganun pala ang paraan para yumaman, two easy ways to earn millions... is he stupid or what?

Itching to know everything, go ahead and watch the clips from the interview.

By the way, be careful on looking at his (Mikey Arroyo) face intently, nakakasuka kasi masyado ang ngiting aso nya *lol*. I don't want my readers getting sick that's why I presented a warning.

For additional reads, try
Mikey Arroyo under fire on YouTube of Inquirer.

"A family that steals from a dying country together, sticks together." May you all rot in hell.

After seven years of silence, Whitney Houston is finally back. She made a live comeback through the show of her dear friend, Dianne Sawyer, Good Morning America, the mini concert was held in Central Park, New York.

“I love you New York,” she announced at end of the song. “I love you Good Morning America. God bless you all. Thank you for coming, you’re making me feel so good.”

“I’m overwhelmed with love and support, your prayers mean so much to me and I love you all for coming,” Houston told the crowd, adding defiantly, “I never left!”

One of the much awaited scene in the upcoming Harry Potter movie series is the kiss between Ron and Hermione, played by Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. And through luck and patience, I was able to grab a screen shot of the said kiss... feast your eyes...

In the hit movie franchise, the pair, Rupert and Watson, play Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, long-time school friends who become romantically involved.

The 19-year-old beauty recently admitted she "pounced" on Rupert, 21, when they needed to get up close and personal and was terrified of laughing during the intimate scenes.

"I pounced on him, I was so desperate to get it over with.

"We were both really nervous about laughing and not being able to take it seriously.

"It was awkward for both of us because we are like siblings - imagine growing up with someone since you were nine."

While Rupert confessed that he dreaded the moment in an interview with BBC Newsbeat.

"We were dreading it to be honest, because we've grown up together and it just seemed wrong really."

"It was fine. We just really believed we were Ron and Hermione and not Rupert and Emma and it was OK. It was only a few takes, so it didn't last long."
